These cards have been designed and developed in consultation with a group of Adoptive parents, who have experienced numerous occasions where difficult conversations have been had insensitively, with professionals across a number of places.
We hope that by parents keeping one of these cards close at hand, they can avoid awkward conversations taking place in busy waiting rooms and request a quiet, more private area to be asked personal information about their child.
