Adoption UK are very pleased to be able to share these new cards with our community.
These cards have been designed and developed in consultation with a group of Adopted people and adoptive parents who have experienced numerous occasions where difficult conversations have been had insensitively, with professionals across a number of settings.
We hope that by providing adopted people with the opportunity of keeping one of these cards close at hand, they can avoid awkward conversations taking place in busy waiting rooms and request a quiet, more private area to be asked personal information about their medical history.
