Children and Young People Support Worker for Connected South West Wales 10 hours, Grade 2, £21,840 per annum pro-rata Closing date 12th August 2024 Join our Connected service and work collaboratively to deliver and support the team in the provision of monthly activity sessions for adopted children and young people in South West Wales. This varied role ensures the young, adopted person and their family are aware of and understand how to access adoption support services . We are looking for someone with experience of supporting children and young people within group settings. The successful applicants will help us to shape the role going forward. As an internship, the post is limited to one year and the successful candidate will be offered training to meet their development needs. This role will offer an opportunity to play an active role in this new project which aims to improve the experiences of adopted people in schools in North Wales whilst at the same time having opportunities to learn new skills and gain knowledge and understanding in areas which are of interest to them. Help will be given to transition from this role into future training or work.
