National Adoption Week National Adoption Week activities Adoption Week in Wales is funded and led by the National Adoption Service – part of the Welsh government. This year’s campaign is called Choose Family and aims to find homes sooner for children who typically wait a long time to be adopted. Choose Family will highlight the moments and memories that make our adopters and adoptees a family. It will be honest about the ups and downs that come with adopting any child — regardless of their age, gender, if they are adopted alone or with their brothers and sisters.
