I’ve been a parent since: 2000 and we adopted 10 years ago 

1. What’s the biggest myth about LGBT+ parenting?
   Children of gay parents will get picked on.  'Difference' is always targeted by peers at different stages in a childs life, however, direct teasing or bullying has never been experienced by our children from other children because of their parents.  Other children usually have a fleeting interest in any diversity in other families & are often more open-minded than their parents.
   
   
2. What’s the one thing you want your children to know?
   They were wanted so much, every hurdle & barrier was easily overcome to have them in our lives.  Being part of their development as young people has been the greatest achievement & experience of my life.
