Richard and his husband adopted their son almost 8 years ago when he was a week away from turning 7. Richard knew from the age of 19 that he wanted to be a parent and that adoption was the route for him. He had no idea what his family would look like but has thoroughly enjoyed every step of this journey. Richard now supports an adoption agency as a partner trainer and supports adopters going through their process. He also hosts a weekly podcast called Adoption Adventures where he shares his family’s experiences and delves into topics that other adopters may want to learn more about.
