Equal Chance

Not every child has a fair start in life. But every child deserves an equal chance of a bright future.


Most children are at least 3 years old before they move into their adoptive families. What happens in their earlier years can be traumatic, with lasting impacts on their relationships, health and learning. That’s not fair.

Throughout 2021 we will be asking you to campaign with us for specific changes to government policy and adoption services in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales to improve the lives of adopted children and their families.
