A workshop designed to support parents and carers as they navigate the teenage years with young people who are adopted or care experienced.

The teenage years can bring big changes in identity, relationships and emotions, and these can feel especially complex for young people who have experienced adoption or care.

This workshop will help you think about how to support your teenager as they build their sense of identity, develop self-esteem, and manage the opportunities and challenges that adolescence can bring.

By attending this workshop, you’ll gain practical insights into how to approach difficult conversations and feel better prepared for the opportunities and challenges these years may bring.

Topics we’ll cover include:

  • how teenagers develop their sense of identity and self-worth
  • ways to approach difficult or sensitive conversations with confidence
  • practical ideas for supporting your teenager through the changes and challenges of adolescence
