Merseyside AUK Community Meet up – all members welcome! 

Meet in the sunshine (hopefully) on the main grass area by the play area for picnic, fun and games. People that sign up for the event will be sent more details of where to meet to find us. 

Bring a picnic blanket or chairs so you can sit comfortably and a picnic lunch if you wish.  Do bring any mini games to play outdoors if you want. 

We are going to be there from 1pm onwards, but it’s going to be really informal and relaxed so feel free to come in any way best for you: set up your camping chairs or picnic blanket with us for the afternoon, bring food if you like, or pop over for half an hour to play a game of catch, even if it you just drop by to say hi for 10 minutes you’ll be extremely welcome.

There is a children’s play area including a small water splash park. There is a small nature trail, climbing rock and skate ramps.  

There is an ice cream/drinks hut next to the play area and also a café located about a 5 min stroll from the play area which sells a range of hot and cold items to eat in or take out (just a note that it does get very busy). 

There are toilets at the main café which includes accessible toilets and baby changing facilities.

In our experience we have always been able to use card for paying for any of the above amenities/activities, but cash may be helpful in case if you are interested in any of these.

Free On road parking is available on Lockett Road and Fairfield Road.
