Quotes from those who have attended previous camps -

"At camp he was so happy, happier than I’ve seen him in a very long time maybe ever. He felt accepted, included and that there are children just like him. It’s changed his outlook considerably he even says he feels happy now."

"I love camp. It is much more than just a camp, it's a big family.  The coming together of adopters and their kids of multiple age ranges, with varying levels of experience is so, so valuable.   I don't know any other adoption activity that builds community in this way.  The opportunity to 'just be', to be accepted, to fit in 'warts and all' is what makes camp so very important.  The more experienced adopters support and 'mentor' the newer ones, everyone plays to their strengths and we all just fit together like one giant jigsaw. There is always someone who has lived your experience who can support you.  It is so special to be somewhere where you are accepted."
