FASD Hub

WVolunteerould you like to support others in their FASD journey? Maybe you have a skill you could share to support our work, or maybe you can support our face-to-face events? We are keen to hear from people who are interested in sharing their time with us as volunteers across a range of roles. 

Community Network 

We are looking for people who can give time to establish a Community Network in their local area.  Time commitment will typically include a monthly meeting and a quarterly events or trips. There is flexibility to how this could be achieved. Examples could include solely organising a group, doing it jointly with others or online delivery only.  

Within this role you can expect to receive the following from us: training, ongoing support as well as accessible and practical resources and help.  

Supporting our Online Community 

Keen to volunteer from the comfort of your own home? We would like to hear from people who could support our online Facebook community, peer support groups and offer technical support at online events, including training. We can offer training and support, so get in touch with us an let us know how you can donate your time! 

What do I need to do? 

To volunteer with us, let us know and we will arrange a chat to discuss your options. You will be asked to complete a volunteer application form and agreement and be asked for references.  

What can I expect? 

We will provide you with induction training, and all the training necessary for your volunteering role. We will also offer support and a warm welcome to the FASD Hub team!

Media Support 

As parents/carers of children and young people with FASD, we all have a story to tell. We are looking for media participants who would be willing to share their journey in magazines, radio, newspapers, blogs and television.
