ScotlandAdoption UK in Scotland operates from our office base in Edinburgh, providing information, support and advice to those parenting children who are no longer able to live with their birth families, across Scotland. Our services are provided through our helpline, online support systems, training workshops and support groups. We work closely with voluntary adoption agencies and local authorities across Scotland. If you are based in Scotland and are interested in adopting a child you should contact your local authority to find out their procedures for placing children in your local area. Join us for our first Valentines Ceilidh when we will be celebrating the love we have for our children (which is occasionally reciprocated) with entertainment for the children attending and opportunities for parents to meet one another and network with friends new and old. Oh, and some dancing too! By popular demand we are meeting at Logie Kirk Hall in Stirling. (15 Alloa Road, FK9 5LH) We will provide teas, coffees and other drinks, plus sandwiches. If you are able to, we ask families to bring along something to share with others. Cakes for example. We are planning to run a tombola again so please remember to bring spare change for the kids to join in, and any pre-loved Christmas gifts that can be added to the tombola. Alternatively feel free to drop them into the office in the run up to the event. We are looking forward to seeing you there. Any queries please contact our office.
