Supporting Adoption UK has positive benefits for your business or organisation:
- Fundraising is an excellent way to increase staff engagement and retention. Organising fundraising activities together create great team-building opportunities and are engaging, motivating and fun!
- As a national charity, supporting us can help increase your business or organisation's profile as we work with families across the country.
- From a SME to a large corporate, we can help you address your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy and meet organisational objectives. Supporting us can generate personal development opportunities for colleagues as they lead on projects outside of their remit and comfort zone, develop new or existing skill sets, help meet personal fitness goals and create a real ‘feel good factor’ from helping others.
How you and your business can help support our work
Whether you organise small fundraising events with a few colleagues or make us your 'Charity of the Year', there are many ways you and your organisation can help.
Partnering your business with us can have mutual benefits. Selecting Adoption UK as your Charity of the Year means we can work together to create a bespoke program of fundraising activities that are right for your business.
Working with you we will develop an understanding of your CSR objectives, customer, client and staff engagement programs to create a sustainable and rewarding partnership.
Team and challenge events
Challenge events are great team building opportunities so why not get a team together and take part in one of our exciting challenges?
Alternatively get together with some colleagues and organise an event in the workplace such as a business lunch, dress down (or up!) days, quiz night, cake sale or a cross-department competition.
Matched Giving is when an employer matches the fundraising efforts of or a donation made by an employee.
This can be their regular donation, volunteer fundraising targets or their volunteering time and is a great way to boost the donation value and therefore morale.
CAF also offers employees a Matched Giving service.
Give as you earn & Payroll Giving
Payroll giving is an easy way to make a regular donation to us or, if you run a business - for your employees to donate. As little as £2 per month makes a difference to the charity. The employer will need to register with a payroll giving agency approved by HM Revenue & Customs who will then distribute the donations to us.
Payroll giving agencies charge a small administration fee for processing donations, and the employer can choose to cover this if they wish so that the charity receives 100% of the donation. The employer can also claim tax relief for this cost as an allowable expense.
Sponsoring one of our family days, support groups or training events is an instant way to help adoptive families to receive the support they need. It also raises your organisation's profile among the communities of families we support.
Do you or your employees have any spare time they could spare to help us out? Volunteering is a great way to get involved and support us.
Gifts in kind
