The Scottish Parliament's report on ASN has been published - and the Scottish Parliament Education Committee have recommended a quality assessment and review of policy implementation and  availability of additional support in schools.

Importantly they stress the need to listen to children, families and staff's own experiences:

"This review should place emphasis on the direct experiences of parents (and by extension the children themselves), teachers and support staff in schools."

You can read our response to the review on p45 of the first tranche of responses collected.  Please do get in touch for support with helping to raise awareness of the needs of adopted and looked after children in schools: [email protected]
