Fiona Aitken

As the director of our service in Scotland, Fiona is responsible for service delivery and development across Scotland.  Fiona manages a team of skilled and experienced staff members who have personal and professional experience allowing them to offer information, advice and support to adoptive families in Scotland. Read more.

 
Fiona Dunbar

Fiona DunbarFiona Dunbar is our Adoption Services Coordinator for Scotland. Fiona brings extensive experience of working as a support worker for young homeless people within Edinburgh, as well as being a foster care and adoptive parent of one. Read more.

 

Aliy Brown

Aliy BrownAliy provides support to the whole team through coordinating office activities alongside working two days a week on the Information/Helpline. In her spare time Aliy is also a volunteer for Adoption UK in Scotland in the Borders area. Read more.

 

Simon Cawthorne

Simon CawthorneSimon is the newly appointed Volunteer Coordinator. As an adopter he has been able to attend many AUK events and helped organise the Dads group for a few years. Simon also works part time providing outdoor play opportunities to children in Edinburgh. Read more.  

 

Alison Parkinson

Alison ParkinsonAlison joined Adoption UK in Scotland in October 2016 and provides support 3 days a week on the Information/ Helpline as well as using her background in further education to develop and deliver training in schools.  Alison is married and she and her husband have an adopted son and daughter.
