Hours: 10 hours a week (flexible with some evening and weekend working required).
Salary: £ 16,926 per annum Full time rate (pro rata)
Location: office based in North Wales to be confirmed. There will be expectation of some travel across Wales. The worker is expected to hold a valid driving licence and provide a car, for which mileage allowance is payable. 
Duration: fixed term contract till 31st March 2021 initially with the hope of future funding to extend the post.

Responsible for: Support the development, preparation and delivery of Children and Young People Service.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • To deliver the Children and Young People Service in the North Wales adoption service area.
  • To provide support to the development, delivery and promotion of the service
  • To work closely with the Lead Youth Worker and other Adoption UK staff delivering support to parents in Wales to ensure the young adopted person’s whole family is aware of and accessing adoption support services where appropriate.
  • To work closely with the Lead Youth Worker to plan and deliver the Children and Young People Service in Wales
