Tickets to hear Bryan Post at Adoption UK Annual Conference ‘selling fast’
Published: 22.07.15Almost 160 tickets have already been sold for Adoption UK's Annual Conference in Birmingham at which Bryan Post will be the guest speaker.
Bryan is one of America's foremost adoption experts and founder of the Post Institute for Family-Centered Therapy, specialising in education for adults, children and families who struggle with issues related to early life trauma and its impact on the development of the mind-body system.
The talk, entitled 'Healing from tots to teens', offers a perspective that recognises the needs of the growing child, whose healing - in the care of a sensitive, therapeutic parent - may span the years from toddler up to and including the teens.
Bryan is also an internationally recognised author, clinician, lecturer and specialist in the treatment of emotional and behavioural disturbance, using a love-based treatment approach that focuses on developing a deeper understanding of fear and how it rules our lives.
Hugh Thornbery, Adoption UK's Chief Executive said: "The fact so many tickets have already been sold speaks volumes for the high regard in which Bryan is held by both adoptive parents and prospective adoptive parents.
"Adoption UK is delighted to have Bryan on-board and I know that many of my colleagues, like me, are very much looking forward to listening to one of America's most established and respected adoption experts."
Mr Thornbery added: "Tickets are really selling fast so I'd urge anyone who hopes to attend the conference to book now to avoid disappointment."
Tickets for the conference, which is being held at the Holiday Inn, Smallbrook Queensway, on Saturday 7th November, are priced at £75 for members and £90 for non-members. Prices include lunch, refreshments, delegate pack and VAT at 20%.
