Coach service donates almost £800 to Adoption UK
Published: 24.01.17A new on-demand coach service has generously donated almost £800 to Adoption UK.
Sn-ap, which currently offers services between Nottingham and London, decided to get into the festive spirit in the run up to Christmas by donating all ticket sales purchased on Saturday 17th December, to Adoption UK. Tickets sales on the day generated £792.
A Sn-ap spokesman said: “At Christmas, a lot of emphasis is placed on spending time with family, so it seemed a particularly poignant season to consider those whose families require extra support. We're delighted to have been in a position to provide a helping hand to Adoption UK, a charity which we know is so important to adoptive families."
Joel Saddler, Adoptin UK's Director of New Business, (pictured above, left, receiving a cheque for £792 from Thomas Ableman, CEO of Sn-ap) said: “We are extremely grateful to Sn-ap for this very generous donation, just shy of £800, and for choosing our charity. As a small charity, donations are crucial for Adoption UK, as they help reach, support and give voice to the nation’s 38,000 adoptive families.”
Consistently rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, Adoption UK is the leading charity providing awareness and understanding for those parenting, or supporting, children who cannot live with their birth parents.
Adoption UK’s purpose is to give voice to adoptive families and to ensure that the right support is there for them.
