Adoption UK announces new Directors
Published: 09.01.14Adoption UK is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Directors to its senior leadership team.
Pippa Donovan joins the charity as Director of Services. She joins Adoption UK from 4Children where she was Director of Business Development. Prior to her role at 4Children, Pippa worked as a Director within operations and business development in both private and third sector organisations within the health and wellbeing sector, focusing on the development and execution of strategy into delivery. She has an MSc in psychological counselling and psychotherapy, and post-graduate professional qualifications in occupational therapy and education.

“This is a very exciting time for adoption practice in the UK. I am very much looking forward to developing Adoption UK’s services with adoptive families, funders and commissioners at this unique time. “
Lucy Vincent will take on the newly created role of Director of External Relations. She has 15 years experience of senior management in a range of organisations including the Audit Commission, Warwickshire County Council and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.

“I am looking forward to working for Adoption UK having had personal experience of the complexity of the adoption process. I’d like to use my skills to help unravel some of the red tape so that others can find the information they need to make informed and important choices and that there is the support and community adoptive parents need.”
