Responsible to: Director of AUK Wales
Duration: 12 months fixed term
Hours of work: 35 hours a week
Salary: £35,000
Location: Cardiff Office base – travel across Wales necessary.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • To be responsible for leading the rapid development of a first-class service for adopted children and young people between the ages of 5 and 25 across Wales.
  • To ensure that the service is consistent across the 5 regions of NAS and that it follows youth work principles and is consistent with the UNCRC.
  • To increase the resources available for the support of adopted children and young people by developing strategic alliances with statutory and voluntary services and identifying and pursuing new sources of funding.
