An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adoption UK team in their Wales office in Cardiff.

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Youth Worker to work out of the Cardiff office but be able to travel across Wales. Weekend and evening work will also be part of this role.

The Lead Youth Worker will deliver the existing Connect children and young people project in South East Wales area, develop, deliver and promote all elements of the children and young people’s service in collaboration with the regional partners. The post holder will also work closely with other Adoption UK staff in delivering support to parents in Wales to ensure the young adoptee’s family are aware of and accessing adoption support services where appropriate

The post holder will need to have a clean driving license and access to their own car.

Hours: part-time 30 hours per week with flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Salary: £25,000 full time equivalent. £21,428 for 30 hours
Location: Cardiff office based with travel across Wales
Duration: fixed Term for 1 year with potential to extend pending  funding
