Help grow our membership

"I am proud to tell the world that I am now a patron of Adoption UK. I’ve signed up – now help me to sign up thousands more!”
Olympic gold medallist Tessa Sanderson CBE

The more members we recruit the more powerful an advocate we can be. To the many families who have adopted without serious difficulties, we say please show your support to the thousands of others who are desperate for help.

This is a cause, we are a charity. Membership makes a massive difference – so please reach out to your friends, families, colleagues and neighbours, and invite them to join.

We’d like to say a small “thank you” for making a BIG difference

Sign up THREE new members before 31 December 2016, and you will receive a £20 Amazon voucher and be in with the chance of winning lifetime membership of Adoption UK.

Point your friends and family to our membership/join up area of the website www.adoptionuk.org/join where they can find out all about how to sign up. Then send the full names and addresses of the new members you have recruited to membership@adoptionuk.org.uk

There are so many great reasons to become a member of Adoption UK. Here are just a few things we have
successfully campaigned for on behalf of our members.

England – You said you needed a significant level of post-adoption support, our lobbying efforts resulted in the Government establishing the Adoption Support Fund.

Northern Ireland – You said your children needed support in schools, we’ve secured funding to launch a pioneering education scheme in the autumn of 2016.

Scotland – You said you needed someone to fight on your behalf, we launched our Fair Deal for Adoptive Families in Scotland campaign.

Wales – You said your children needed access to adoption-aware mental health services, we’re currently briefing Wales’s newly-appointed Cabinet Secretary for Health, Vaughn Gething AM.

"When there was a shortfall in our funding through the Adoption Support Fund I was lost so I reached out to Adoption UK. They gave me the confidence to keep fighting – and to win."
