MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• To lead the development and delivery of Adoption UK’s membership strategy to build
relationships, offer support and represent the needs of the UK’s population of adopters
• To lead the sustainable growth in our membership, working with senior colleagues to build a
strong case for member support and overseeing campaigns to recruit new members
• To ensure that Adoption UK’s membership proposition is clearly presented across our
programme of activities and via external channels
• To establish and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders to enhance Adoption
UK’s membership benefits
• Ensure that Adoption UK’s membership delivery processes, systems and infrastructure and
customer care are fit for purpose
• Manage, support and appraise the Adoption UK membership team
• Work collaboratively with Adoption UK leadership in each of the nations to develop and support
delivery of the community-based membership benefits
• To provide regular reports, feedback and evaluation on all membership services to the Senior
Leadership Team and the Chief Executive Officer.


Hours of work: : Part/Full time (28-35 hrs per week)
Duration: Part/Full time (28-35 hrs per 
Location: Head office, Banbury / Home working.
Salary: £36,000
