Adopted people have an unfair start in life. They deserve an equal chance of good health, good relationships and a bright future.

Our annual Adoption Barometer report shows that, though there have been real improvements in adoption support in the UK over the last five years, far too many adoptees are still being let down, with serious consequences. Poor early support builds problems over time. Adopted teens are facing severe challenges. Adult adoptees feel abandoned. Adoption UK is calling for free, accessible and expert support for adoptees of all ages.
