Help Adoption UK support even more adoptive families

Adoption UK is a national charity that needs your support to continue helping adoptive families. We need donations from you, the membership, and others who support our work and recognise the importance of what we do.

We do not receive central government funding and your donations will make a real difference, enabling us to provide more support to more families, and campaign for changes in the way government supports adoptive families. With your help there’s no limit to what we can change.

Support and therapeutic services are hard for adoptive families to access, both for the children who need them and for their families. Without these services, many families either struggle in isolation or become one of the 20 to 30 per cent of adoptions that break down creating further trauma for the child.

Finding appropriate support can mean the difference between a child thriving in a secure and loving family, and a child potentially living their childhood in the care system which – while it does its best for the child – does not offer the individual therapeutic family care these children need.

Your support will help us change the lives of adoptive families all over the UK. Making our services more accessible to more families will enable us to offer a wider range of services. Adoptive families need every chance and support to succeed; we need your donations to make that happen. Please give whatever you can.
