Join Adoption UK now to access essential support services for adoptive families
Our acclaimed programme has been improving the lives of adoptive families for more than ten years
Did you know that we operate services across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales?

Adoption UK’s family-finding magazine Children Who Wait is published each month and features profiles of children currently looking for new families.
The magazine enables social workers to reach outside their own areas to find suitable families for their looked-after children and allows prospective adopters to take a proactive part in putting together their adoptive family.
Children Who Wait is available only to Adoption UK members and each issue features profiles of over 100 children waiting for parents.
Here’s what the Online Community members say:
“We found our child in Children Who Wait. I phoned, got put through to the social worker, we had an intensive 20 minute chat and I can pinpoint the exact moment when she realised she'd found her little customer's new mum.” Bizzy
“We got our two little ones from Children Who Wait. We first saw them in June, were approved in July, met them in September and bought them home in October. They are all ours now with no more social workers and are no longer labelled looked after children!” Cazza
“We found our daughter in the April edition of Children Who Wait. Her profile was exactly what we were looking for; she was talkative, outgoing and wanted to be with other children. I rang her family finding lady myself and I knew in that phone call that she was the right one for us. We cannot believe how perfectly she fits in with our family.” Gillian
The online version of our family finding magazine enables us to promote children in a more rounded manner, providing more information about individual children and sibling groups, including photographs, audio/video clips, drawings and writings or artwork to convey more about the actual personalities of the children.
